How to Verify your Paypal Account Using EON Card

I finally got my EON card! At last! I was so happy I will now be able to request payments using my verified paypal :D

Here is how you can get your Paypal account verified in order to start earning hassle free!

If you're not yet registered, please click the Paypal banner above. Sign up for a personal account.

First Step: Apply online

Please keep you reference number as the bank will ask you for it. (It will be emailed to you after registration)

After you have filled up all the necessary information needed, you will be redirected to the list of requirements you will be going to bring with you to get your EON Visa Card at your nearest Union Bank.


I got the card on the same day. It's a 1 day process. I am not sure with the other branches.

How to Open An EON Account -- List of Requirements


To apply for an EON Card you must

1. Make a personal appearance at the UnionBank branch.
2. Submit a fully accomplished EON Cyber Account Application form.
3. Present at least two (2) valid IDs. Please see list below.


  • Passport
  • Current Driver's License
  • Permit to Carry Firearms
  • New Social Security System (SSS) card
  • Government Services Insurance System (GSIS) eCard
  • Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID
  • Digitized TIN Card
  • Postal ID
  • National Statistics Office (NSO) authenticated Birth Certificate
  • NSO authenticated Marriage Certificate
  • Original & unexpired National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance
  • Police Clearance
  • Digitized Voter’s ID
  • Office of Senior Citizen Affairs (OSCA) / Senior Citizen card
  • ACR Identity Card (I-Card)
  • Consular ID
  • Philippine Overseas Employment Association (POEA) / Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Card
  • OFW ID
  • Seaman’s Book
  • Government office ID (e.g., Armed Forces of the Philippines, Home Development Mutual Fund [HDMF] IDs)
  • Certification from the National Council for the Welfare of Disabled Persons (NCWDP)
  • Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Certification
  • PRA Special Resident Retiree Visa (SRRV) ID
  • Other valid IDs issued by the Government and its instrumentalities


4. Submit a photocopy of the two (2) valid IDs you will present. Please note that the branch may require other documents and information such as your Tax Identification Number (TIN) and SSS Number so please have this ready.
5. Pay P350 for your first year annual fee.
6. Bring your initial deposit (not required but recommended) so that you can start using your EON account.

I brought a my postal ID along with a police clearance because I only have 1 valid ID. Bring atleast 2 of these requirements. Much better if you bring supporting documents. You will be paying 350 pesos for annual fee as stated above. Also bring extra money to deposit because Paypal will deduct P100.00 upon verification which will be returned back into your Paypal account after a successful verification. I recommend you to bring P500.00.
